Niagara House Crafters recently had the honor of handcrafting a very special request from a friend and mentor. This man was a high end cabinet maker, with a keen eye for design, and a desire for excellence This person was instrumental in getting me interested and guiding me early on in my woodworking hobby at a very young age. Although he probably never realized the things he had taught, I would always watch and examine his projects to learn what I could.
Getting on in years he is in the stages of pre-planning his final days. I was honored to build a very detailed urn for him. Best of all I got the pleasure of his critique and appreciation. Thankfully all his comments were very inspiring and positive.
